It also doesn't come with cameras that let it see the corners of a room.

It's still a great deal particularly if your home or office has lots of unfinished floors and you're looking to save money. It's also very quiet and works when you're at work or in school. It lacks the edge-to-edge bare floor vacuuming offered in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective at mopping. The latest model from iRobot is also among its most advanced. It features advanced features like enhanced dirt detection and future compatibility (another company's robot vacuums with mop that is able to wash mop pads in a self-cleaning manner).

It's the only robotic mop or vacuum to score 100% in our evaluations thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors, including cameras, a structured lighting system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that can fully autonomously refill and empty its base station, and it has an industry-leading 12,000Pa suction and self-cleaning mop pads.
