iRobot suggests that you clean the area in which the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or clutter it might encounter. You should also keep the dustbin and filters clear to avoid becoming clogged. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is filled or the battery is empty it goes back to its docking station and automatically emptying its dirt into the station's external dustbin, and then continues cleaning the area where it started. Its main advantage over the eufy, is its self-emptying dustbin, which eliminates a major cause of maintenance and reduces the amount of time spent cleaning.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot on how to begin or stop cleaning sessions and also to move around the room and to vacuum a particular area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and easy with the iRobot Home app. Once connected to these services, we were able communicate with the i7+ using voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

In our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors and dealt with dog hair (on carpet) very well, picking up 86% of it. It was not as successful in avoiding taller items such as socks or cords. This was disappointing. It's also more expensive than the other models we've tested and this could be a problem for certain shoppers.

The application also allows you to steer the robot manually should you need to.
