Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased Best item upgrade like an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't keep the original level of the item and any money wasted aren't rewarded.

The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates, or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment such as increasing its damage.

Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next success is to be rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.

During the course of an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the value of an Best item upgrade by improving its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without straining their accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to a new piece of gear.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can also take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets you increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade item Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.

Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be added in addition to an initial amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can put in equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. When the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. Likewise, once an item upgrader reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher level of the item. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but because it lets players get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
