For instance, the Q5's navigation system doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance and is therefore prone to getting hung up on shoes and socks, and is unable to navigate tightly packed rooms very efficiently in our tests. It also doesn't have a camera that would let it see the corners of a room.

However, it's a good choice for those who want to save money on a Roomba from iRobot, and you have a mostly bare-floor home or office. Additionally, it's quiet and can work while you're at work, or at school. It's not equipped with the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming offered by the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30.
