8 Tips To Enhance Your Item Upgrade Game

Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for one of the same type, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll their equipment into three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you'll need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next success is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item, it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.

Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Some items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but because it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
