Additionally, it's quiet and can be used while you're at work, or going to school. The only thing it's missing that you don't get in the pricier iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on floors that aren't clean. It's also less effective in mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick well and isn't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 has self-emptying docks, however. And, if you have to, you can switch the mopping pad to a dry one in seconds.

2. iRobot Roomba

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive vacuuming and mopping capabilities into an elegant, compact package. 3. IRobot Roomba X40

With a sleek, circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba than the competitors' boxes, this mop and robot vacuum is one of the most attractive looking models in our reviews. The latest flagship model from iRobot is also its smartest. The smart robot uses a combination of LIDAR and structured light to draw out floor plans and spot obstacles, navigating more intelligently than its top competitors. It also comes with a front-mounted camera for real-time detection of hazards however, it wasn't foolproof in our testing and was sometimes confused by power cords or other obstructions.
