In our tests the i7+ was more agile and faster than our runner-up and the eufy RoboVac G30, and it took large pieces of pet hair from all surfaces kinds including carpeting. The main advantage it has over the Eufy is its self-emptying garbage bin that eliminates major sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the best buy robot vacuum to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines, move itself around the room, and even vacuum a specific space. Its flat front makes it possible to reach the corners and the edges of walls.

Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it isn't equipped with the ability to map that comes with more sophisticated models like our top picks, the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. Because of this, it is sometimes stuck on things like phone cords or furniture that isn't as sturdy, and frequently runs out of battery power before returning to its original location.
