The advantages of these methods include the accessibility and reliability of EEG signals. These measures are not precise or sensitive enough.

A study performed by Aalto University researchers analyzed children's eye movements during a virtual reality game to determine if a ML algorithm could identify the differences between normal and ADHD children. The results demonstrated that machine learning algorithms could be used to identify ADHD children.

Another study examined machine learning algorithms' effectiveness. The results indicated that a random forest algorithm has a higher degree of robustness and higher rates of error in risk prediction. Permutation tests also demonstrated greater accuracy than labels assigned randomly.
