The publishers of high school textbooks announced recently that they will remove references to evolution in their books. The Society for Textbook Revise, an independent body which is an offshoot of the Korea Association for Creation Research (KACCR) is the one who has led this effort. STR has achieved its first victory in eliminating instances of the evolution of the horse and an avian ancestor called the Archeopteryx in textbooks. The focus is now on the removal of excerpts from Darwin's infamous finch research and on human evolution, too.
