1. Roomba Combo j9+

The Roomba Combo j9+ is one of the most sophisticated 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop cleaners available today. It features a sleek self-emptying Clean Base that can accommodate up to two full mopping cycles and is even designed to resemble a tiny table. It's also the only robot mop we've tested that comes with a water reservoir on board to automatically wash and refill the cleaning pads after each mopping and vacuum cycle.

The mopping arm is set in a discreet manner at the top of the unit. It lowers when it senses hard surfaces, and starts to scrub. It moves slowly and cautiously over surfaces to ensure that it doesn't accidentally spill wet spills or mud across carpeted areas. It also does a fantastic job of staying away from cords, furniture and other obstacles.

The iRobot Home App is smarter than many robot vacuum cleaner reviews vacuums. In terms of navigation, the M12 utilizes LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. The sensors do a great job of detecting larger objects, such as HVAC vents and furniture. They may have difficulty detecting smaller objects like cables or small rags. This may cause the robots to miss areas.

The M12 can also detect and navigate stairs thanks to its built-in inclinometer. It can also automatically return to its OMNI station to wash and dry its mop brushes and refill its water tanks. When the batteries run out, the OMNI Station is able to clean itself and empty the dustbin when its batteries are low.

3. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is the cutting-edge in robot vacuum cleaner uk cleaning, packing a staggering number of features into an attractive package. It has the highest mopping capacity as well as a camera for increased obstacle avoidance, and a powerful vacuum that has the ability to sense when it's sweeping over carpets. It also has advanced capabilities for voice assistant and intelligence.

It's a fantastic vacuum and mop, completing our 1,500 square foot test area in about 101 minutes before running out of battery and returning to its dock. Its mop washes itself in between uses, a feature that reduces maintenance costs and helps keep its pads clean. Additionally, there is a dock sensor that senses the moment that the mop's pad gets dirty and prompts a wash cycle to keep it clean.

Like its predecessors as well, like its predecessors, the S8 MaxV Ultra features an intelligent system that can recognize objects of the home, such as shoes and pet waste using the camera and LIDAR combo. It performed well in our test of obstacle avoidance with just one minor glitch in my testing (it was stuck while unwinding a ball of wool that was tangled up around its brush arm).

The S8 MaxV Ultra has a new suction power of 10,000pa. power, more than twice its predecessor. This makes it a good choice for homes that have lots of carpeting and a variety of flooring kinds. The vacuum can be set to automatically increase the suction as it passes over dust or crumbs.

It can be programmed to automatically lift the front side brush whenever it detects wet areas and clean up debris around the edges and baseboards.

The X40 Ultra has a simple intuitive application that comes with various features. It is easy to use and set up. It is quieter than most corded vacuums. The only sounds are the occasional low hum from its motor, and brief moments of sucking when cleaning. Its navigation system, which uses cameras, 3D structured lights, multiple lasers and a 3D structured light to locate and avoid obstructions it is awe-inspiring. This helps the X40 Ultra receive one of the highest scores in our assessments of obstacles to avoid.

5. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is an extremely powerful vacuum and mop combination that was designed to be easy for users. The gunmetal base station fills its own tank of clean water, empties the dustbin into a smaller bin and washes and dries its own mop pads during cleaning sessions. It comes with advanced features that let it switch between hard and carpet surfaces, remove pet hair from carpets and clean high-level thresholds in rooms.

The S1 Pro's navigation and mapping capabilities are excellent, with the internal dToF LiDAR device allowing it to maintain the appearance of a slim profile while offering top-of-the-line object avoidance. It can be driven close to walls without hitting them and avoiding steps, and it also automatically raises its mop when driving over rugs and carpets with a short pile.
