The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that can fully autonomously refill and empty its base station and it boasts industry-leading 12,000Pa suction and self-cleaning mop pads.

As with other iRobot models, the X40 is easy to use, offering an intuitive mobile app interface, and integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant. The only drawback is that it's still quite loud which could be an issue if you use it in the morning before work, or at night when you try to sleep.

It's also quite expensive, but it's not as expensive as the Ecovacs Omni or Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, both of which are equally capable and look better. If you're willing to put up with a bit more noise and some extra cost, this is a very powerful two-in-one that will please almost everyone.
