Additionally, it's quiet and you can use it while you're at work or at school. It doesn't have the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming offered in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's one of our most appealing looking robot vacuums. iRobot’s latest flagship model is also its smartest. It comes with advanced features, like enhanced dirt detection and future compatibility (another company's robot vacuum cleaner that is able to wash mop pads in a self-cleaning manner).

It's also the sole robot vacuum uk vacuum or mop that scored the perfect 10/10 out of 10 in our testing. This is thanks to a mix of modern sensors, including a restructured lighting system, a camera, and a variety of lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot in our tests that can fully autonomously refill and empty its base station and boasts an industry-leading 12,000Pa suction and self-cleaning mop pads.

Like other iRobot models like the X40 is user-friendly, with an easy mobile app interface as well as integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant.
