The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like table legs and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive aren't able to meet. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic as well, with only a few missing in corners and on walls.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tried that does very well at collecting debris from unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It can't navigate stairs as well as competitors, either, and it doesn't have an dock that allows the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.
