We had the opportunity to test drive the EV9 for several hours on a local freeway and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress wind and road noise while driving on the highway. It rides smoothly over bumps and ruts. The acceleration is extremely fast and the car has adjustable regenerative braking that allows "one pedal driving" by simply lifting off of the accelerator.

The EV9 offers a great range and can be charged within three hours or less at home, or with any commercial charger. The driver has the option of choosing between two operating modes: eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode focuses on the torque as well as cruise control and handling while sport mode maximizes speed.
