The X40 Ultra is also the only robot in our tests that can fully self-refill and empty its base station and it has an industry-leading 12,000Pa suction and self-cleaning mop pads.

The X40 as with other iRobot products, is simple to operate. It has an intuitive mobile application interface and integrates with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only downside is that the X40 still a loud unit. This could be a concern in the mornings prior to work or during the night when you are trying to sleep.

It's also a bit expensive however, not as expensive as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or Roborock S8 Omni, which are equally impressive and attractive. If you're willing some more volume and some extra cost it's a capable two-in-one that should satisfy most people.
