The i3+ isn't able to have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or other top-rated robots we have tested. It could get stuck on power cords or socks, and may have trouble navigating between surfaces, such as rug and hardwood.

We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning sessions and to move around the room, and even vacuum an area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and easy with the iRobot Home app. After being connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s preferences and monitoring its performance.

In our tests of the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors and dealt with dog hair (on carpet) quite well, cleaning up 86 percent of it.
