Researchers from Aalto University studied the eye movements of children in the game of virtual reality. This was done to determine if a ML algorithm could differentiate between ADHD and normal children. The results revealed that a machine-learning algorithm could identify ADHD children.

Another study compared the efficacy of different machine learning algorithms. The results showed that a random forest technique has a higher degree of robustness, as well as higher levels of risk prediction errors. Similar to that, a permutation test had higher accuracy than randomly assigned labels.
