The best robot vacuum Robot Hoover

The best robot vacuum that mops hoover (official website) can clean and mop without requiring your attention, and it will leave your floors spotless. Its price is affordable and its high-end features (such as dirt detector) are a plus.

Check your robot's brushes frequently for tangled debris and hair. Clean them as needed. Certain models also automatically empty the onboard dust bin and place it in a larger bin at the bottom. This can reduce the amount of fine dust that gets released into the air.

1. Roomba Q5 pro

The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive cousin, the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums we've tested. They have top-of-the-line motors that can produce up to 5,500 Pascals of suction force. Like other premium iRobots (including the top model) they employ smart mapping to create detailed floorplans and avoid household obstacles such as cords and furniture legs. The robots also have the feature of Carpet Boost that increases its power when it detects dirt on the carpet.

Both the Q5 as well as the Q7 Max Series get very high scores on our tests on floors that are bare and are particularly effective in removing pet hair. There are some issues however, which prevent them from being our top choice. One of the flaws of the Q5 is its navigation system doesn't feature AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's therefore prone to getting stuck on socks and shoes and couldn't navigate rooms with lots of people efficiently during our tests. It also doesn't come with an image sensor that lets it see the corners of an area.

It's still a good value for those whose home or office has lots of unfinished flooring and you're looking to save money. It's also very quiet and works while you're at work or in school. It's not equipped with the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming feature that's offered in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective in mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes that don't stick well and aren't able to deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 has a self-emptying dock, though. If you want to, you can switch the mopping pad for a dry one in seconds.

2. iRobot Roomba X30

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive vacuuming and mopping capabilities into an elegant, compact package. Its agile navigation and intelligent cleaning maps make it quick to clean and efficient in taking on larger particles, such as pet hair. It also comes with an impressive suction system and a self-emptying bin. It's the most efficient robotic hoover for carpets but it's not as good as other hoovers in terms of deep cleaning.

This high-performing mop and vacuum combination uses advanced sensor technology to stay clear of obstacles and pet waste and it will learn your home's layout over time for more efficient cleaning. The app lets you modify zones and alter the cleaning schedule. It has a battery life that is comparable to other models.

You can tell the X30 Ultra to remove its mops and extend them when in a carpeted room, which helps prevent cross-contamination. Its flex arm can also be used to reach beneath low-lying furnishings and along baseboards. However, it's not equipped with the same washboard performance as our other Editors' Choice picks, the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo N8 Professional+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.

During tests, X30 Ultra was the most efficient robot cleaner with mop vacuum/mop which could complete the task of cleaning a whole home and had 66 percent of its battery remaining. It did a good cleaning job on various floors and rooms with different flooring types, including certain area rug. Its obstacle detection was top notch and it swiftly eluded fake dog socks, turds, shoes and cables.

It's a bit more expensive than iRobot Combo v9+ or iRobot Roomba j9+ but has superior suction and an onboard bin that is automatically empty into the base. It also supports voice commands using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can clean the floor even after it vacuums. This is a feature we haven't seen on other robot vacuum/mop combination.

3. iRobot Roomba X40

This mop and vacuum combination features a sleek, circular look that looks more like a regular Roomba model than the bulky units of the competition. It's one of our most appealing looking robot vacuums. iRobot's latest flagship model also is its most advanced and has advanced features like enhanced dirt detection technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads).

It's the only robotic vacuum/mop that scored a perfect 10 in our tests, thanks to a combination of high-tech sensors, including a camera, structured light system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot in our tests that can fully self-refill and empty its base station, and it has an its own self-cleaning robot mop and vacuum mop pads.

The X40, like other iRobot products, is easy to operate. It has a simple mobile application interface and is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only issue is that the X40 is still a noisy unit. This can be a problem in mornings prior to work or at night when you are trying to fall asleep.

It's also quite expensive, but it's not as pricey as Ecovacs X2 Omni or Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Both of which are equally powerful and look better. If you're willing with a bit more noise and a little more cost this is a powerful two-in-one that will delight most.

iRobot L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop, with many advanced features that will let you forget about your chores. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaning device, similar to Ecovacs' top-of-the-range X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. It features a multi-functional dock that can automatically emptys the vacuum's bin and refills the water tank, and washes and dry the mop pads.

The smart robot employs the combination of LIDAR and structured light to create floor plans and spot obstacles, making it more efficient than its more expensive rivals. It also has a front mounted camera that can detect hazards in real-time but this wasn't 100% reliable in our tests and was often confused with obstructions or power cords.

The vacuum has a suction capacity of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to complete the task. It also has "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates the intensity at which the vacuum works and adjusts the frequency of cleaning for various areas of the house depending on the amount of dirt they tend to be.

If you have a larger home, it's worth selecting a robot that comes with spot or zone cleaning mode. This lets you instruct the robot on which part of your house needs to be cleaned by using the app or voice control. A stair mode can be beneficial if you have large furniture. For busy families, a recharge feature and resume feature that allows your robot vacuum to resume where it left off can be extremely useful.

5. iRobot Roomba RX3

The RX3 is a smarter cleaner than you would imagine from its price. It's a pro at vacuuming, picking up 55% of the debris that was found in our tests (it was second only to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mops with only one pad and a rotating motion which is cleaner than the majority of the mop cleaners with robots that we've tried. It's self-sufficient too, with a fully-featured app as well as a self-emptying, washable base.

The well-designed iRobot app guides you through an initial mapping exercise that collects information about your floorplan and any "no-go" areas you mark on the map. It can be used to design cleaning schedules, or to set up an automatic vacuum and mop robot spot-clean. You can also use it to rank your most filthy areas to improve performance. The app has a range of features, including seasonal suggestions, custom mapping and advanced cleaning settings.

Its shape is more rectangular than most other robot vacuums, meaning it is able to reach corners and underneath furniture more easily. It also has strong 8000 Pascal suction and intelligent combs for hair of pets. And you can create a spot-clean that scours a specific area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD offers a sleeker, cheaper alternative to iRobot Roomba. It's got a more attractive, Dolce & Gabbana-esque design and its twin cameras appear like cute eyes. It does a good job vacuuming, but it is more susceptible to getting caught on low thresholds and is noisier than the other top robotic vacuums we've tested. It also has an app that's not as intuitive and a small base station that can't double as a bin to empty.
