Also, it doesn't have an image sensor that lets it see the corners of a room.

It's still a great option for those who want to save money on an Roomba from iRobot and have a bare-floored home or office. It's also very quiet and can work when you're at work or school. It's not equipped with the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming that is offered by the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. This mop and vacuum combination is sleek and has a circular look that looks much like a Roomba unit than the boxy models of the rivals. It is one of our most attractive looking robot vacuums. The latest model from iRobot is also among its most advanced. It comes with advanced features, like Enhanced Dirt Detection as well as future compatibility (another company's robot vacuum cleaner that can wash mop pads in a self-cleaning manner).

It's the only robotic mop or vacuum that has an exemplary 10/10 in our evaluations due to a mix of high-tech sensors, including a camera, structured light system, and multiple lasers. It also has a camera mounted on the front to detect hazards in real-time, although this wasn't quite foolproof in our testing and was sometimes confused by power cords or other obstructions.

The vacuum cleaner has an maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than sufficient to complete the task. It also features "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates how hard the vacuum works and also adjusts the frequency of cleaning for different areas of your home in accordance with the degree of dirt they tend to be.

For larger homes it's recommended to choose one with spot or zone cleaning modes that let you tell the robot to clean a particular area of your home via the app or voice controls.
