Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled by the buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map or change the labels of rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It features a large LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for the majority of people, but it can help to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot floor cleaner vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded mop and automatic vacuum. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are some of the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.

Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is quite compact. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, chores and functions that other robots have to leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that do an excellent job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robot vacuums. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's not able to climb stairs as well as competitors, for instance and doesn't come with a dock that lets the user to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
