ADHD is defined by hyperactivity and inattention scores of 6 or more on the CPT. In addition, a Qb-Score greater than 1.5 is recommended as the threshold to determine if there is ADHD in healthy populations.

The results of the study suggested that malingerers over-compensate for skills deficits. They also scored lower on both visual and auditory tasks, which led to lower visual mean scores. They were unable to fool the Auditory Prudence and Visual Focus tests.
