The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles such as tables and walls which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums aren't able to meet. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few missing in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled via just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas and adjust your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that's designed specifically to make this machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place it is done without difficulty. It comes with a huge LCD screen, which is useful when setting up schedules and changing settings. This feature isn't essential for most people however it can help you to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly smart robot vacuums in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is one of the best in the industry however, it's costly.

Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is quite compact. The station's main selling point is that it automates many tasks, chores and functions that other robots have to leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Many other robots require you to do this.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the few robot vacuums I've tried that does a really good job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, which means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the house. It's also unable to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a vacuum robot that can do it all.

But if you want to save some cash or don't want to think about the limitations of this robotic there are many other options available, including a lot of eufy models that cost considerably less. Eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpet floors, as well as a mopping function at a reasonable price.
