Upgrades can increase the power of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original item's level and any money wasted will not be refunded.

The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing its damage.

Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that melee and weapons while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To create them, you'll need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened they show a complete description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade item process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. It's an excellent option for players who want to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to strain their wallets. Moreover players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. There are several ways to obtain the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item upgrades an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is reached.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can add a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item upgrader mod will increase by an amount of. The maximum level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. In the same way, once an item is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Once an upgrade element is added to an item upgrading, it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they get a perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will put an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close to finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
