It did this for 77 minutes on one cleaning before running out of battery.

The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums that we tested comes with a self cleaning vacuum cleaner-emptying bin that automatically dumps debris into an external dirt compartment located on its charging base when it's full. This makes it easier to maintain the unit and keeps the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it must be manually empty after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dust bin can hold 2.4L that is enough to last through four to five cleaning sessions.

Similar to the i7, this model is equipped with state-of-the-art floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. However the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 has the capacity to store multiple maps. The map of the i7 can be used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones, but not for the i3+ EVO.

Although the i3+ EVO is better at picking up surface debris than some of the other robovacs we looked at, it's not the best for cleaning corners and edges. It's also less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It pulled chairs away from walls and made some collisions with the sides of our bed, and it became stuck on cords and toys during our testing.

Whether you're expanding your collection of robot vacuums or are just starting out with the Q5 Pro is a great choice. The Q5 Pro's 240-minute running time is also generous when compared to other 2-in-1 robots we tested. If the battery is empty, it returns to its dock and recharges, before starting cleaning where it stopped. You can control the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
