The ability to upgrade items is a great way to increase the value of your weapon and armor. However, upgrading magic and common equipment isn't worth the cost as uncommon or exclusive equipment can quickly surpass it.

Upgrades can be added to an item upgrader up to six times. Each upgrade adds points to the gauge for the item upgrading's level.
