They found that 14 of these trials scored highly or pragmatic practical (i.e. scoring 5 or higher) in one or more of these domains and that the majority of them were single-center.

Studies with high pragmatism scores are likely to have more lenient criteria for eligibility than traditional RCTs. They also contain populations from various hospitals. The authors argue that these traits can make pragmatic trials more meaningful and applicable to everyday practice, but they do not necessarily guarantee that a trial conducted in a pragmatic manner is free of bias. The pragmatism characteristic is not a fixed characteristic the test that doesn't have all the characteristics of an explicative study can still produce valid and useful outcomes.
