The i3+ isn't able to feature obstacle avoidance features like the i7+ or other top-rated robots we tested. It may be stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between different surfaces, like rug and hardwood.

iRobot recommends clearing areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, which includes putting away any clutter or toys it may come across. It is also recommended to keep the dustbin and filters clear to avoid becoming clogged. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or its battery is depleted it will return to its docking station and automatically emptying its trash into the station's dust bin and then resumes cleaning the area where it left off. The i3+ EVO's battery can last for approximately an hour and a half continuous use, and takes about three hours to recharge.

2. iRobot i7+ Roomba

The i7+ is faster and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying garbage bin which eliminates major sources of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.

We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot vacuum cleaner sale to start, stop or pause its cleaning routines and to move around the room and sweep a specific space. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and easy with the iRobot Home app. When connected, we were able to communicate with the i7+ using voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." One of iRobot's most adored robot vacuums, the 694 is an entry-level model that's a great option for those who don't want to spend too much on a robot. It was able to remove the majority of types of debris and sizes during our testing and often went over the same area many times to ensure an efficient clean. Its flat front allows it to reach the corners and the edges of walls.

Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt technology to avoid obstacles and guide you through your home. It's not equipped with the mapping capabilities of more advanced models, like our top picks, the i3+EVO and J7+ Series. It is prone to getting stuck on phone cords or low furniture and will often run out of power before returning to its base.

The Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum is superior to the Roomba 694 in all aspects, as it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning and is equipped with an allergen-trapping HEPA filter, incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance, has more advanced automation capabilities and is more efficient in moving itself. It also has a larger dustbin, and charges more quickly.

The eufy RoboVac X8 has a superior battery life than the Roomba. It also has physical boundaries strips that can be controlled with the voice assistant on your smartphone. It is also more durable, has a more powerful motor, and performs notably better on both bare floors and carpets with low pile, while providing a wider array of automation features.

5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+
