It's not equipped with the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming that is offered in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective at mopping, as it relies on disposable wet wipes that don't stay on for long and don't take on dried-on debris. The Q5 has an auto-emptying dock, however. If you need to, the mopping pad can be replaced with an awe-inspiring one in a matter of minutes.

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive vacuuming and mopping capabilities into an elegant, compact package. Its smart cleaning maps and nimble navigation make it easy to clean and effective in dealing with larger particles like pet hair. It also has a self-emptying bin with powerful suction and support for virtual boundaries. It's the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop robotic hoover for carpets but it isn't as effective as some of its competitors in terms of deep cleaning robot mop and vacuum.

With an elegant, circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba rather than the boxes, this mop and robot vacuum mop cleaner robot is one of the most attractive looking models in our reviews. iRobot's latest flagship model also is among the most intelligent, with advanced features including Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can wash its own mop pads).

It's also the only robot vacuum/mop that scored an absolute 10 out of 10 in our testing. This is due to a mix of modern sensors, including a restructured light system, camera, and a variety of lasers. The smart robot utilizes LIDAR and structured lighting to map out floor plans and detect obstacles. It can navigate more efficiently than its top competitors. It also has a front mounted camera for real-time detection of hazards however this was not completely foolproof in our tests, and was often confused with power cords or obstructions.

The vacuum cleaner comes with the capacity to suction up to 7,000 Pascals which is more than sufficient to accomplish the task. It also comes with "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates the intensity at which the vacuum works and alters the frequency of cleaning for various areas of the house according to the degree of dirt they tend to be.
