However unlike the i7+ or other top-rated robots that we evaluated the i3+ doesn't have any obstacle-avoidance features which means it can get stuck on things like power cords or socks, and may have issues navigating across surface transitions, such as from hardwood to rug.

iRobot recommends that you tidy up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other clutter it might come across. It's also an excellent idea to keep the bin and filter clear so they aren't clogged by dirt. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and takes the dirt out of the docking station's external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning where it started. The battery's lifespan is around an hour and a half of constant usage. It takes three hours to fully charge.

2. IRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model in iRobot's flagship line, and it is equipped with the most recent features. The biggest benefit over the eufy the dust bin is self-emptying which removes a major source of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to start or stop cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room, and vacuum a particular area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. When connected, we were able to use the i7+'s voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, remote control vacuum cleaner the master bedroom."
