The latest flagship model from iRobot is also its smartest. It's the only robotic mop or vacuum to score a perfect 10 in our evaluations due to a mix of high-tech sensors that include cameras, a structured lighting system and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that can fully autonomously refill and empty its base station, and it has an the industry's highest suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mop pads.
Like other iRobot models, the X40 is user-friendly, with an easy mobile app interface, and integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Assistant. The only downside is that the X40 still a noisy unit. This can be a concern in the mornings before work or in the evening when you are trying to fall asleep.
