8 Tips To Enhance Your Item Upgrade Game
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements used.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon, or rings. This replaces the item upgrader kit with an identical item, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't keep the original item's level, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment into three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next Success is being rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they display a full description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
In the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without straining their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the Item Upgrader Mod an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an Best item upgrader is at its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them more effects or an improved quality of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item level upgrade or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage to weapons.
Certain items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats, but because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) and the level of the item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will put an item in your inventory after you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
