The downside of having larger wheels is that they can make buggies quite large and may struggle to squeeze through narrow spaces. This is an issue if you plan to use it for jogging or have to squeeze through doorways that are narrow when on the move. Fortunately, the majority of models come with small folding options that let you remove the front wheels for more compact storage.
Easy to Manoeuvre
A three-wheeled buggy is more maneuverable for children. They are designed so that the front wheels can rotate at a moment's notice, and are easy to navigate, making them ideal for terrains that are difficult, such as cobblestones, parks, bumpy roads, and dirt tracks.
MFM reviewer Kath tried the 3 wheel jogger stroller-wheeler with her toddler, and she wrote: "The Terrain is a joy to maneuver on rough terrain. The swivel wheel in the front was especially helpful." I was also amazed by the way it handled kerbs with the hand-operated break. I found it extremely stable when driving downhill or over uneven terrain."
The only downside to this amazing maneuverability is that the larger wheels of the 3 wheel double pushchair wheel buggy can sometimes make it difficult to fit into tight spaces. This is something you need to be aware of when you live in one of the cities. If this is a concern then a 4-wheel buggy may be better for you.
