1. Roomba Q5 Pro
The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive counterpart, the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums that we have tested. They are equipped with motors that are top of the class and can handle up to 5,500 Pascals. Like other iRobots with premium features (including the top model), they use smart mapping to produce precise floorplans that avoid obstacles like furniture legs. They also feature a feature called carpet boost which boosts the robot's power when it sees a lot of dirt on the carpet, allowing it cleaned up quickly.
Both the Q5 as well as the Q7 Max Series get very good scores in our floor tests that test for bare floors They're also particularly adept in removing pet hair. However, they have several flaws that prevent them from being our top pick. One of them is that the Q5's navigation doesn't feature AI-powered obstacle avoidance technology, so it's prone to getting hung up on socks and shoes and couldn't navigate tight spaces very efficiently in our tests. It also doesn't have a camera that would let it see the corners of the room.
It's still a great deal for those whose home or office has a lot of unfinished floors and you're looking to save some money. Additionally, it's quiet and you can use it when you're at work or going to school. It lacks the edge-to-edge bare floor vacuuming that is available in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective in mopping, as it relies on disposable wet wipes that don't stay on very well and can't deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 comes with a self-emptying cradle that can be emptied by itself. If you want to, you can switch the mopping pad for dry ones in a matter of seconds.

In tests, the X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop in the market to clean the entire house with only 66 percent of its battery left. It also mops using one pad and a reciprocating movement that is more efficient than most of the mop cleaners with robots that vacuum and mop that we've examined. It's also self-sufficient, with a full-featured application and an auto-emptying, washable base.

You can use it to make cleaning schedules, plan a spot clean or to prioritise your dirtiest rooms for better performance. The app also provides access to a host of options, including seasonal suggestions, custom maps, and advanced settings for your cleaning.
