1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO
The i3+ EVO and its sibling, the i3 EVO are the same robots that differ only in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ an excellent choice for people who want an automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but don't mind having to empty their dust bin manually as it gets full.
Both robots are proficient at picking up surface dirt on floors and carpets and are able to move around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home that help the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a manner that maximizes efficiency. The i3+ doesn't have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or other top-rated robots that we tested. It can be stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between different surfaces, like rug and hardwood.
iRobot suggests that you clear areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, which includes clearing out any toys or clutter it may come across. It's also an excellent idea to keep the dust bin and filter clean so they don't become clogged with dirt. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station and automatically emptys the dirt into the docking station's dust bin. Then it continues cleaning from where it left off. The battery's life span is approximately an hour and a half of constant usage. It takes 3 hours to charge.
2. Roomba by iRobot
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model of the flagship line from iRobot, and it comes with all the latest features. The Roomba I7+ can map rooms more efficiently with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and direct your robot by voice or through the app.
The i7+ is faster and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying garbage bin, which removes major maintenance sources and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning routines and move around the room and vacuum an area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. Once connected we were able to give the i7+ voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and evaluating performance.

It's enough time to best automatic vacuum cleaner the typical home but not enough to reach every area. (A second run is usually sufficient).
