The i3+ isn't able to have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or any other top-rated robots we have tested. It could be stuck on power cords or socks, and may have trouble navigating between surfaces, such as carpet and hardwood.
iRobot recommends you clear out areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, including clearing out any toys or clutter it might encounter. It's also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clear so they don't become clogged with dirt. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station, and it automatically empties the dirt into the station's external dustbin. The iRobot i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line and is packed with the most recent features. It's self-charging and self-navigating, but the most important feature is its self-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.
The Roomba I7+ can make rooms more efficient maps using Imprint Smart Mapping. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and control your robot with voice or via the app.
In our testing, the i7+ was quicker and more maneuverable than our runner-up, the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surface kinds, including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying garbage bin that eliminates major sources of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning sessions and to move around the room, and even vacuum an area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. After being connected, to give voice commands to the i7+ for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." 3. Dyson Cyclone V10

The V10 is powered by a Lithium-ion battery with 7 cells of energy that produces power without fading for 60 minutes. Its sophisticated whole-machine filtration system removes allergens, and then releases cleaner air back into your home. The specially designed head utilizes stiff nylon bristles that penetrate deep into carpets and collect large crumbs or fine dust. It comes with three suction modes to match the task at hand. It quickly switches from floor vac to handheld vacuum and back again.
This model also has docks that charge to 100% in about 3.5 hours and provides an easy access to two attachments and a wand clip. This is a huge improvement over earlier Dysons, which take a long time to charge and are a pain to store.
The main drawback of the V10 is its short running time. The tests conducted by CR show that its marketing claims of up to 60 minutes are a bit misleading. This is an average not an extraordinary time for a battery-powered cordless vac. It's still enough time to vacuum the majority of a home that's average size, but not quite long enough to cover every area (though the second time around usually does the trick). This doesn't mean that this model doesn't have its benefits: It's lighter and maneuverable than older cordless Dysons and its vacuuming performance is noticeably better on carpets with low pile.
4. iRobot Roomba 694
One of iRobot's most adored robot vacuums The 694 is an entry-level model that's an excellent option for those who don't want to invest too much on a robotic vacuum cleaner commercial. It's capable of sucking up a variety of kinds of debris in our tests, and it often passes over the same areas many times to get a really thorough clean. Its flat front makes it possible to reach the corners and the edges of walls.
Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate your home, but it's not equipped with the ability to map that comes with more sophisticated models such as our top robot vacuum cleaner choices, the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. As a result, it may get stuck on things like phone cords and furniture that isn't in good condition, and often runs out of battery power before making it back to its original location.

It's also more durable, has a stronger motor, and performs better on floors with low pile and bare.
