Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades allow players to increase the level of equippable items such as weapons or armor, as well trinkets above a certain threshold. You can upgrade items at any NPC that accepts the appropriate currency.

The cost of upgrading an item could be gold and/or Dilithium depending on the item type. A lot of upgrades require Flightstones or crests. Ask your guild members for their opinions when you aren't sure whether upgrading is worth the cost. There may be more efficient upgrades for less. Make sure to upgrade your equipment as quickly as you can because upgrades become more expensive as time passes. If you cannot pay for the upgrade, it might be better to hold off. This allows you to maximize your potential.
