World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template ending in % will gain 3damage to attack each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and armor to give them a stat boost or an extra effect. They can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment with a slot for them. The item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level for a component to be applied. Unlike other mods, upgrade items components can only be used one time; they cannot be applied multiple times or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment and some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix may be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it is used on (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' becomes Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item upgrade's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of the equipment with fewer Upgrade Crystals than would be required to achieve the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defence attributes of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades are available to be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. These upgrades are available for purchase them from the cash shop or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher tier version of an item will be revealed in the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of the extent to which it will increase after a future reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process can be costly and there is a significant possibility that the item will become obsolete or even break if it fails. A failure to upgrade can ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items that can double or even eliminate possibility of failure, and a few upgrades that give a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, and include any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in many ways, and we recommend getting them up to level 15 as soon as possible.

You'll often see in the endgame that placing Glyphs is the most effective way to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15, and they provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes more quickly.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced with no restrictions are the most commonly used. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you will require them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, which is why it is Best item upgrader to put Glyphs in key spots on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids, for instance should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might be able to place them near their critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the effectiveness of specific items by putting upgraded components in them. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each level of item requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or purchased from some NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrade the item, and when enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same kind. The same armor will be upgraded to an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have a unique bonus. This could be a disadvantage since the item may increase in price even if you don't require it.

item upgrades (Read Homepage) can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens to be able to do this. The item will be replaced with the same item, but it has a level 1 basis and completely different bonuses. This is a good idea but it should not be used frequently as it can be a waste of resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value, allowing players to customize their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants buffs when the player is repeatedly in or exits water. The item can be upgraded several times by increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item can be very valuable in PvP, as a perfectly rolled version of it can be worth between 20 and 50 times its value without being upgraded.

Requirements

The upgrader for items allows players to increase the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, armor trinkets, and weapons) beyond ilvl385 by handing over the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also boost the defense of the base set and upgrades to weapon items boost their base damage and also increase their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear that can be upgraded up to eight times. Each time you upgrade an item it has a chance to fail--the rate of failure increases as you go beyond the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will cause the item to go to its original state, requiring the player to pay more for materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the highest number of upgrades.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any bonuses it gained such as crit chance, attack damage, as well as any additional effects associated with the effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player may still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

If an item upgrade is upgraded the upgrades are applied in order from the lowest to the highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded increases its crit chance it will be applied prior to any attack damage increases. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the definition of the item and the value is computed each time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item are determined by its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to its value. For instance an item of common use could have five upgrades for a price of. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero quality items will have the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items might have different upgrade requirements than standard gear. For example they may require less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. The player will need to carry each piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each equipment upgrade will require an individual amount of ingredients needed to upgrade.
