Why All The Fuss About Item Upgrade
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar one and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item upgrader mod (redirect to Articlescad), rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next Success result is rerolled. This allows you to save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display a full description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
During the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This is an excellent choice for those who want to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to burden their wallets. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition, players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item upgrader kit an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be applied in addition to a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. When players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of an item will increase by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium and the number of Upgrade tokens.
The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide extra effects or an increased item level. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an item upgrader kit, it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
