Item Upgrade Tips From The Top In The Industry
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are made available.
For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon, or rings. The item is replaced by another of the same kind, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three aspects: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next success result is to be rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
During a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's level, and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade item, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to get a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item upgrade is reached.
Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at a time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be used in addition to an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have discounts.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The upgrade items can be used to make sets and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an item upgrade, it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", on the other hand increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get an exact roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close to finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
