1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums best vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of floors and rooms.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over raised thresholds without any problems. However it had some issues getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.
Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. But, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, as opposed to just drag the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.
The robot is simple to setup and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically filled or empty. It comes with a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are very good and include a pair of mops which lift and scrub the floor instead of moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation when required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush will give you an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without stepping back. It can move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is useful for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a large margin around obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.
The app is streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, change the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up dirt and debris however, it's not able to get every last particle of dust. It's essential to clean your home often, at least once a week. This is especially important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot vacuums with mop that both vacuums and mops, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves price by eliminating mopping functions and using a cheaper plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to clean your floors, the Q5 still has some of the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic cleaner and mop in this price range. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't need to empty the bin manually each time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic vacuum and mop robot refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't clean up cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums are unable to. This device also stores dust in a larger bin that means you have empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. This robot can detect carpets, and increase suction if necessary. The app also allows you to mark areas you want to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
