Item upgrading allows players to improve their weapons and equipment with new affixes, increasing its stats base or adding additional perks. To upgrade an item, a player has to have it in their inventory and have access to the kiln.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components are items that can be incorporated into weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools, providing an added bonus or effect when the equipment is used.
