The Best Item Upgrade Tricks To Rewrite Your Life
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrade item is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for one similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll their equipment in three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard Best item upgrade (they said), while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next success is being rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they are open they show a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get an exact roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
