We had the opportunity to test the EV9 for a few hours on a local highway and found it easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress wind and road noise while on the highway. It is smooth on bumps and ruts. The car's acceleration is surprisingly fast, and it comes with adjustable regenerative brakes to enable "one-pedal driving" simply by lifting off the accelerator.
The EV9 offers a great range and can be recharged within three hours or less at home, or with any commercial charger. The driver can choose from two operating modes: eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode prioritizes torque as well as cruise control and handling while sport mode maximizes speed. Both are a lot of fun to drive and offer an unique experience for those who have not driven an electric vehicle before.

GreenPower produces around 10 EV Star buses per month for Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 all-electric cars. GreenPower will increase production to meet the needs of the Biden Administration which wants to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star buses are the first of their kind to be Altoona tested and green power mobility reviews FMVSS certified. They are Buy America compliant, and ADA conforming.
