It's thus susceptible to become stuck on socks and shoes, and it couldn't navigate densely packed rooms very efficiently during our tests. It doesn't also have a camera that can see around corners.

However, it's a good choice, especially if you want to save money on a Roomba from iRobot, and you have a bare-floored home or office. Additionally, it's quiet and can be used while you're at work or school. The only thing it's missing that you won't find in the pricier iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on bare floors. It's also less effective in mopping, relying on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick on well and aren't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 does have an auto-emptying dock, however. 2. IRobot Roomba X30

The smart robot uses the combination of LIDAR and structured light to map out the floor plan and detect obstacles, making it more efficient than its top rivals. It also comes with a front-mounted camera for real-time detection of hazards however this was not foolproof in our tests and was often confused with power cords or obstructions.

Its vacuum has a suction capacity of 7,000 Pascals, which is more than enough to finish the job. It also comes with "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the amount of time the vac works and alters the frequency of cleaning for different areas of your home according to the amount of dirt they are.
