The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, so you can tell the robot to stay clear of it.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and it can be difficult to know whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles such as tables and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is an area that many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is also excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.
Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled by the buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map or change the labels of rooms.
If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It features a large LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for the majority of people, but it can help to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot floor cleaner vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded mop and automatic vacuum. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are some of the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.
Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is quite compact. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, chores and functions that other robots have to leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that do an excellent job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robot vacuums. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's not able to climb stairs as well as competitors, for instance and doesn't come with a dock that lets the user to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
