Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can transform from a single stroller to double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted to become a triple travel system by adding the bench seat or an infant car seat. It has 24 configurations and is a top-rated stroller overall. This model is made with Baby Jogger’s soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate the temperature. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and lightweight 3 wheel pushchair belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is lighter, too.
It has a moderate-sized shade as well as an e-snap-aboo window that is simple to close or open. The telescoping handlebars are one of the simplest to adjust and works well for parents of all sizes. The seats recline, and they have a footwell adjustment knob so you can position your child for maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious however we would prefer it had an opening that was more secure. It's easy to access but we found the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they must be removed completely and reattached to each use.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame's side, lower than the handlebar. It is comfortable for sandals and barefoot and is a significant improvement over the awkward levers for brakes that other brands use.
This is the only stroller we reviewed that can accept two infant seats. It's an excellent choice for parents who have twins or an infant on the way. It can be used with most major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q, and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a good alternative for families who already have car seats, but need a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you may be better served with another convertible stroller in this case.
