Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our tests on cleaning and can take care of different floors. Find models that let you choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to automatically empty and clean up stairs.

Many of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and was able to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or rug.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how much you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. However, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an efficient solution for cleaning. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just drag a pad across a surface. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if required.

This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot isn't able to reach and two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished when required. It comes with a range of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good robot vacuum job at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping is quite good as well, with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to just dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is simple to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is completed.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping performance is augmented by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent, navigating tight spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is beneficial for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a large margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is simple and easy to use. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, alter the suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app as well as external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

Robot vacuums are great at picking up dirt and debris, but they're not able to get every speck of dust. It is important to clean often, at least once a week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your Wi-Fi at home network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your routine of cleaning.

The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more expensive S-series models, which include the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping and using a less expensive plastic body.

Even though it's not able to clean your floors, the Q5 has some of the best robotic mop and vacuum mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and determine the floor type. It also has an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop water tank filling system and washing system to allow hands-free operation.

The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area rug, but it was unable to clean up kitty litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that lets it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums are unable to. This device also collects dust in a larger bin which means you need empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot is also able to detect carpets and increase suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas you want to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
