1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and was able to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or rug.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how much you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. However, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.

Its mopping is quite good as well, with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to just dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is simple to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is completed.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping performance is augmented by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area rug, but it was unable to clean up kitty litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
