Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.

Reroll Tokens

Players can roll their equipment into three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To make them, you need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next Success is being rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that can increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players first need to locate the appropriate item upgrading and then click on the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the item's durability. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without straining their accounts. For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is equipped. The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon), the level of the item and the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
