1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double
The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest model in the Baby Jogger range. It is designed for travel, and can fit through doors that are standard with its ultra-narrow shape. It's also among the lightest double buggies available that weighs just 14lbs when folded. It's perfect for trips with a toddler and infant since you won't over-exceed airline baggage allowances. It also folds to the size of a travel bag so that you can put it away in the back of your car when it's not in use.
The one-handed Z-shape fold is a breeze, it's incredibly compact when you get the hang of it and takes seconds to unfold. However, our tester found the auto lock a bit confusing and as the handlebar wasn't locked to its place when you press it, it landed on her legs when she was using it. She also felt the handlebar was a bit shorter than she would like particularly with a large changing bag hanging from it.
This double stroller is not as light as other travel buggies. It has a full variety of features, and is one the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately), features multiple recline positions as well as an UV 50+ canopy. You can even add an additional bassinet to one or both seats and transform it into a travel system.
The four wheels made of rubber are perfect for pavements and urban terrain however, they're not designed for off-roading. They slid on gravel and long grass and there's not much space between the wheel and the bracket so mud was able to get stuck easily. But our tester was still enthralled riding this buggy, and it did manage to climb some pretty hilly terrains.
