World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. They also increase bonuses like damage from PvE and crit chance.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is %, it will increase 3% of its previous damage every time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the item's current level. The cost increases as the item level rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an additional stat boost or effect when they're used. They can be obtained through making crafts, buying from vendors, trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment that has a slot for them. The item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level for a component to be used. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a specific kind of upgrade component used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment, as well as some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may be prefixed or a suffix, modifying the name of the item to which it is used (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of the equipment that require less Upgrade Crystals than is required to reach the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of the weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. These upgrades are available for purchase them from the cash shop or getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of an item will be dropped during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep improving their equipment, even if they're unsure of the extent to which it will increase after a future reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be costly and there is a significant risk that the item may become obsolete or even break when it fails; a failure to upgrade can cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that can double or even eliminate the chance of failure, and a few upgrades that give the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs increase the power of all nodes in the area around them, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in various ways, and we recommend upgrading them to 15 levels whenever you can.

You'll often see in the endgame that placing Glyphs is the most effective way to upgrade your equipment. These are the only upgrade component which can be upgraded to level 15 and provide an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and replaced again are the most popular. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the numerous Glyphs as well as also a few rare Glyphs that can be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs You will need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Utilizing Glyphs Glyph will boost all the nodes connected to it, and you should try to place your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximise the impact. Druids for instance should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also consider placing them near their critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrade system allows players to increase the stats of specific items by inserting upgraded components. This is commonly known as "upping". Each upgradeable item upgrades is assigned an amount that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each level of an item requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or purchased from some NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to the upgrading of an item upgrader mod. When enough points have been earned you'll be eligible to claim the upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When a player upgrades an item it is replaced by a new item of the same type. The same armor can be transformed into an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have its own set bonus. This can be a downside, as the item can become more expensive even if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens they can roll item upgrades. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, with an initial level and a totally different set of extra bonuses. This can be useful but it shouldn't be done often as it could waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled several times to increase their value, giving players the ability to alter their gear. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or does not swim as dolphins). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the maximum roll by a factor of 10. This item is very useful in PvP. A well-rolled version could be worth up to 50x the value of its unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade item (mouse click the next document) items allows players to boost the level of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense, while upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an object it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures can result in the item reverting to its initial state, which will force the user to pay more for materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum amount of upgrades.

If an item upgrades is not upgraded the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it gained like crit chance, attack damage, or additional effects (such as an increase in healing over time or reloading speed). However, the user can continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost it will be applied before any damage from attacks increases. Slots is a brand new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is recalculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item are dependent on its rarity score and the number of upgrade slots. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item could have five upgrades, each costing 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player will need to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. Each upgrade to equipment will require different amounts of ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the cost listed above.
